Politicies and Procedures
(Targeted clientele)
Our delivery services are only offered to professional, commercial, or institutional customers (companies, municipalities, governments, etc.).
By accepting these terms and conditions, you declare and warrant that you are acting solely in a professional, commercial, or institutional capacity.
In the event that you are acting on behalf of your employer, you hereby declare and warrant that you have the right and authority to act on its behalf.
(Allowed items)
We do not accept any item that is prohibited from transportation under the law.
Animals are prohibited as well as hazardous materials that have not been previously accepted.
Fragile items are not guaranteed and are at your own risk.
You are responsible for any additional costs (including fines or penalties) or any damage we may incur due to inadvertent acceptance of an unaccepted item.
(Shipping Information, Delays)
You must accurately describe the dimensions (length, width, and height), weight, and number of your shipments.
In case of an error, we reserve the right to re-measure and re-weigh your packages, which may change your billing.
Complete and accurate addresses of pick-up and delivery points are crucial to ensure adequate service.
You are responsible for any delivery to an incorrect address that would be caused by errors or omissions in this information, thereby causing additional fees.
In case of damage or delay in delivery, incomplete delivery, loss, errors or non-delivery, you must inform us of the situation by telephone within the first 24 hours and in writing within 30 days of accepting the shipment, failing which we will not be responsible for any losses or damages incurred.
We will not be liable for delays, damages, delivery defects, or other problems resulting from events beyond our control, such as a major road accident, snowstorm, flood, or other natural disaster.
We reserve the right to reject any submission that we deem inappropriate from a logistical standpoint.
(Insurance)
Your shipments are insured for a maximum value of $200. If you wish, they can be insured for an additional amount based on the declared value, up to a maximum of $5000. Additional fees will apply per $100 of declared value.
You are required to describe the value of the shipment. In the event of inaccuracies, any claim against us is limited to the lower of the actual or declared value.
(Payment, Accounts)
If you have a customer account, you must pay shipping fees within 30 days of the billing date.
You will be able to pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfer, or by check.
Any amount unpaid on the due dates mentioned above will accrue interest at a compounded rate of 2% per month (effective annual rate of 26.82%).
We reserve the right to temporarily block your account without notice until your unpaid invoices under these terms and conditions are settled.
For any non-account holder, you must pay shipping fees at the time of placing your order (in which case credit card (Visa or Mastercard) are the only accepted means of payment).
To have a customer account, please fill out the application under the "account opening" section of our website.
We reserve the right to refuse any account opening request.
If you believe you have been the victim of a billing error, you must notify us by email at info@fixcourrier.com.
Disputes must be reported to us within 90 days of placing an order, otherwise, you agree to pay the requested amounts without further dispute.
POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL FEES:
WAITING:
After 10 minutes of waiting (during the pick-up or delivery of a parcel), a fee will be charged for these 10 minutes of waiting.
In addition, you will be charged for each additional minute of waiting.
INSURANCE:
Insurance fees are in no way contestable or refundable after the pick-up has been completed.
NON-STANDARD PACKAGE
For any package whose largest measurement exceeds a given measurement, volumetric calculation will be taken into account to determine the cost of your delivery.
You release and hold us harmless from any loss, claim, liability, damage, costs, and expenses of any nature whatsoever, loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of opportunity, or other indirect damages incurred as a result of your failure to comply with the conditions set forth below.
